We will be in the Nook.
3491 Dayton-Xenia Rd. | Beavercreek, OH 45432
Bring: Your favorite apron if you have one!
Spots are limited to 9 students. Registration required. No sharing of spots is permitted.
Prerequisite: Basic Soapmaking Class or 3 successful batches on your own.
In this class, you will learn the basics of making cold process milk soap by doing it! You will make a 2 lb. batch of fragranced milk soap to take home with you! All supplies to make your soap are included in the cost of the class. Use my tools and supplies to save on costs while you learn. Many fragrances, including essential oils, will be supplied so you can plan out your perfect fragrance combination. You will get to choose between many types of different milk, including goats, coconut, and whole. I will also bring micas to decorate the top and bottom if you wish!
Handouts, including the recipe used in class, and instructions on how to make milk soap by yourself when you get home are also included. You will also receive curing instructions for the soap you made and directions on cutting it as well!
Heads up! Your soap from this class will be cured and ready if you wish to give some out over the holidays!!
We will spend some time at the end of the class going over questions. Sometimes the class runs over a few minutes.
If a parent is bringing their registered 13+ child, they will also have to purchase a spot to make soap if staying in the room.
Decoy Art Studio can only assist you with directions. They do not register students and will have limited information about the class. If you have any questions, please feel free to email email@example.com.
Registration closes a few days before the event, usually about 48 hours. Purchase here on the site to reserve your spot!
If you have any allergies to coconut, rice bran oil, or olive oil please let me know when registering. I have an alternative recipe I can bring for you!
Most people do not mind being photographed, and others do! Pictures are sometimes taken in class for examples, to share on my site and blog. If you do not want to be photographed, please let me know when you enter the classroom. Some classes (depending on where the class is being taught) will require a waiver to be signed before you can do the project or be photographed.
Please cancel at least 7 days in advance for a full refund. You will get a 50% refund if you cancel with at least 72 hours notice. Registration typically closes 2 days before the event. If you cancel with 48 hours or less before the class there is no refund.
Canceling early allows for us to open the spot back up for someone else to purchase!
